vehiclesandtheirfunctions,foraslongaspossible.
Cleaning

Fromtimetotime,dustandlintdepositsmustberemovedfromaxle-bea-
rings,andfromdriveandsteeringelementsofvehicles.Modelroads,too,
shouldalwaysbekeptfreeofdustandtyreparticles.
Cleanthevehiclesusingasoftdryclothandasoftdrypaintbrush,orby
softlyblowingair.Neverusewateroraggressivedetergents.
Lubrication
Asonthebigoriginals,allrotatingpartsofvehicles(driveaxles,fronttyre
axles)andallmoveablepartsofthesteeringunit(front-axleswivelpins)have
tobelubricated.WerecommendusingFALLERspeciallubricant(170488)
orFALLERspecialoiler(170489).
ThelubricationservicepointsareshownwithredcirclesinFigure2.Here
too,followtheprinciple'aslittleaspossible,asmuchasnecessary'!When
partsaredry,aminutequantityofoilequivalenttothepointofaneedleis
sufficientandwillensuresmoothrunforalongtime.
