Clutch
3. Run the saw chain (2) over the clutch and place
the guide bar (3) on the threaded pins of the
chain saw.
4. Hold the tip of the guide bar (3) lightly upwards
and tension the saw chain by turning the chain
tension screw (A) until the saw chain just
touches the bottom side of the guide bar. Then
check the chain for smooth rotation and proper
tension while moving it by hand. The saw chain
is adjusted by turning the chain tension screw in
clockwise direction.
5. Tighten the clutch cover (18) with the nuts. Only
hand tight the nuts.
6. Make sure the kickback brake is released
otherwise the saw chain cannot be moved.
The saw chain should be tensioned that way,
so the chain is not too loose and can be
moved by hand. If the saw chain is too tight,
loosen the tension by turning the chain
tension screw counter clockwise and readjust.
