As the only waterbed heating system on the market to date, the
delta k has been certified by an expert report on low radiation and
has been tested by TÜV. It was also awarded the certificate for
"tested safety" (GS).
With normal heating elements, the heat is usually given off mainly
to the underside and not, as with the ceramic delta k heater, due
to the good insulation values, only to the top.
Constant and even heating prevents the heating plate from burning
through.
The delta k fulfills the strict RoHS standard on the restriction of the
use of hazardous substances and is officially registered with the
EAR Foundation for waste equipment recycling.
