The Ridder PAR sensor is a quantum sensor for measuring PAR, in the range from 391 to 695 nm ± 5 nm.
The sensor is suitable for natural light and artificial light including Son-T and LED (including red). The PAR
sensor can be connected to the MultiMa, CX500 and the HortiMaX-Go!. This document assumes you are
familiar with the installation tools / procedure for the relevant process computer.

Storage and transport
Keep the sensor in the original packaging for as long as possible in order to prevent damage.
Safety instructions and warnings
• Maximum cable length 50 metres.
• Remove the protective cover before use.
• The sensor can be installed both inside and outside; do not install the sensor in shade.
• Remove the protective cover before use.
• Comply with the applicable local safety regulations and requirements.
MultiMa installation
• Connect the sensor according to the diagram, set the associated DIP switch to position 20 [mA].
• Activate the sensor using the MultiMa Service Assistant and set the range:
• Open the settings window for the PAR sensor, then open the Attributes tab:
• Check the following settings:
• Sensor type: - PAR sensor [ 0 – 4000[µmol/s.m2]]{PAR LITE, 0 – 28 [mV] OR
- PAR sensor [ 0 – 4000[µmol/s.m2]]AMPBOX{PAR LITE, 0 – 28 [mV]
• Maximum Reference Display 3000
CX500 installation
• Connect the sensor according to the diagram and use the CX Assistant to adjust the configuration.
Drag the sensor to the configuration and set the range:
• Click on the Settings header
• Open PAR sensor settings
• Check the following settings:
• PAR sensor full scale at maximum measured value [μmol/s.m2]
HortiMaX-Go! installation
• Connect the sensor according to the diagram and scan for new hardware
• The values are automatically correct.
De Ridder PAR-sensor is een kwantum sensor voor het meten van PAR, in het bereik van 391 to 695 nm ± 5

PAR-sensor kan aangesloten worden op de MultiMa, CX-500 en de HortiMaX-Go. Dit docu-ment gaat ervan

Opslag en transport
Bewaar de sensor zo lang mogelijk in de originele verpakking om schade te voorkomen.
Veiligheidsvoorschriften en waarschuwingen
• Maximale kabellengte 50 meter.
• Verwijder de beschermkap voor gebruik.
• De sensor kan zowel binnen als buiten geplaatst worden, sensor niet in de schaduw plaatsen.

Installatie MultiMa
• Sluit de sensor aan volgens schema, zet bijbehorende DIP-switch op positie 20 [mA].
• Activeer de sensor met behulp van de MultiMa Service Assistent en stel het bereik in:
• Open het instellingen venster voor de PAR sensor, Open de tab Attributes:
• Controleer de volgende instellingen:

Installatie CX-500
• Sluit de sensor aan volgens schema en gebruik de CX-Assistant om de configuratie aan te passen.
Sleep de sensor in de configuratie en stel het bereik in:
• Klik op de kop Settings
• Open PAR sensor settings
• Controleer de volgende instellingen:
• PAR sensor volle schaal bij maximum meetwaarde [µmol/s.m2]
Installatie HortiMaX-Go!
• Sluit de sensor aan volgens schema en scan naar nieuwe hardware
• Waardes staan automatisch goed.
