- Seite 2 ANTENNA IN Connect the antenna connector to the input terminal of the television (ANT/IN jack on the back of the TV– image 1 above) or digital converter box. You can also hang the antenna on a wall, or place on furniture, or any other non-metallic structure using the antenna stand (antenna stand is only supplied with the Monarch 50 Antenna model).
- Seite 4 A: TUNER MODE ANTENNA B: SCAN FOR CHANNELS Using the TV’s remote control, go to the system menu and set the tuner mode to “Antenna” or “Air” and scan for available channels in your area (See your TV manual for more information – It is usually listed as auto-program, auto-scan, channel search or channel scan).
- Seite 5 In case of poor reception, try placing the antenna to another location and rescanning the TV. Posi- tioning the antenna directly towards the nearest transmitter or a higher place with less interfer- ence from walls or objects is more likely to result in better reception. It is always necessary to rescan whenever you move the antenna to a new location.
