Les maladies du bois sont générées essentiellement par la
taille. En effet, les agents infectieux pénètrent dans le bois
par l'intermédiaire des plaies de taille.
Pour lutter contre ces maladies et protéger le bois, FELCO SA a conçu
un sécateur pneumatique pulvérisant, le FELCO 79, FELCOmatic P
Pulvérisant.
Ce sécateur a été développé à partir d'un FELCOmatic Standard, outil
d'une fiabilité légendaire sur lequel a été installé un système de pulvé-
risation. Ce modèle est muni d'une vanne équipée d'une buse bidirec-
tionnelle et d'une bouteille en plastique. Cette dernière se porte à la
ceinture et contient le liquide de pulvérisation, lequel est aspiré par un
effet " venturi " provoqué par l'air qui s'échappe du corps du sécateur
lorsque la lame est en position fermée.
Le FELCOmatic P permet d'appliquer pendant la taille les produits de
lutte contre les maladies du bois. La pulvérisation, simultanée sur la
lame et la plaie de taille, s'effectue lorsque la lame croise la contre-
lame et aussi longtemps que la main maintient le levier de commande
pressé à fond.

Schneiden verursacht. Ueber die Schnittwunden dringen
infektiöse Stoffe in das Holz ein.
Um diesen Mechanismus zu unterbinden und das Holz zu schützen,
hat FELCO SA eine pneumatische Baumschere mit Zerstäuber, die
FELCO 79, FELCOmatic P Zerstäuber, entwickelt.
Diese Baumschere wurde auf der Basis einer FELCOmatic Standard,
deren Zuverlässigkeit legendär ist, kombiniert mit einem
Zerstäubersystem hergestellt. Dieses System beinhaltet ein Ventil mit
einer Zweirichtungsdüse und einer Plastikflasche. Die am Gürtel trag-
bare Plastikflasche enthält das Sprühmittel. Bei geschlossener
Klingenstellung wird durch die aus dem Scherenkörper austretende
Luft ein " Venturi "-Effekt erzeugt, der das Sprühmittel ansaugt.
Die FELCOmatic P ermöglicht so während des Schneidens eine
Holzschutzimprägnierung. Wenn die Klingen sich kreuzen, erfolgt der
Sprühvorgang in zwei Richtungen, d.h. auf die Klinge und auf die
Schnittfläche, der genau so lange dauert, wie der Auslösehebel maxi-
mal durchgedrückt ist.

Disease and infection which affect wood generally result
from pruning, as the agents that cause the infection pene-
trate the wood via the open pruning wounds.
In order to combat these diseases effectively and to protect the wood,
FELCO SA has developed pneumatically operated pruning shears with
a built-in sprayer unit - the FELCO 79, FELCOmatic P Pulverisant.
The design of the shears is based on the FELCOmatic Standard, a
tool with a legendary reputation for dependability to which a spraying
system has now been added. This model incorporates a discharge
valve fitted with a bidirectional nozzle and a plastic bottle, which atta-
ches to the person's belt and contains the spraying liquid. The liquid is
drawn into the sprayer by means of a " venturi " effect produced by air
escaping from the unit when the blades are closed.
The FELCOmatic P makes it possible to apply products designed to
combat disease and infection in wood while pruning is taking place.
Liquid is discharged simultaneously onto the blade and the cut wood
as the blades cross and stops when pressure on the commanding
lever is released.
