Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zum Anschluss an einen Computer vorgesehen (USB- oder PS/2-Port) und dient dort z.B.
zur Bedienung des Betriebssystems.

USB-Anschluss
Verbinden Sie den USB-Stecker mit einem freien USB-Port Ihres Computers. Dieser braucht dabei nicht
ausgeschaltet werden. Windows erkennt neue Hardware und installiert die benötigten Treiber. Da die
Treiber in Windows integriert sind, ist kein Treiber-Datenträger im Lieferumfang.
PS/2-Anschluss
Schalten Sie den Computer aus und trennen Sie ihn von der Netzspannung (Netzteil
ausschalten bzw. Netzstecker ziehen), bevor Sie die Maus an- oder abstecken. Andernfalls
kann das Mainboard und auch die Maus beschädigt werden!
Verbinden Sie danach den mitgelieferten PS/2-Adapter mit dem USB-Anschluss der Maus. Stecken Sie den
PS/2-Stecker in den PS/2-Mausport des Computers. Wenn Ihr Computer über mehrere PS/2-Ports verfügt,
so beachten Sie das Handbuch zu Computer oder Mainboard, um den korrekten Anschluss zu finden (ggf.
auch farbige Kennzeichnung von PS/2-Stecker der Maus und PS/2-Buchse des Mainboards beachten,
Standardfarbe „grün").
Verbinden Sie den Computer wieder mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie ihn ein.
Der benötigte Treiber ist in Windows integriert, die Maus wird automatisch erkannt.
Tipps und Hinweise
• Vor dem An- oder Abstecken von PS/2-Geräten an den Computer ist der dieser auszuschalten und von
der Netzspannung zu trennen (Netzteil ausschalten bzw. Netzstecker ziehen).
• Wenn Ihr Computer mehrere PS/2-Schnittstellen hat, so beachten Sie das Handbuch zu Ihrem Computer
bzw. zu dem Mainboard, welche der PS/2-Schnittstellen für eine Maus geeignet ist.
• Bei Notebooks ist der Parallelbetrieb eines bereits im Notebook vorhandenen Steuergeräts (z.B.
Touchpad) und einer PS/2-Maus evtl. nicht möglich. Schließen Sie die Maus dann über USB an den
Notebook an.
• Der optische Sensor auf der Unterseite der Maus arbeitet auf manchen Oberflächen nicht korrekt, z.B.
auf Glas oder glänzenden, spiegelnden Oberflächen. Verwenden Sie ein geeignetes Mauspad.
• Kontrollieren Sie gelegentlich den optischen Sensor, ob sich Staubpartikel auf ihm abgesetzt haben und
entfernen Sie sie mit einem weichen Pinsel.
• Der mitgelieferte PS/2-Adapter funktioniert nur mit der mitgelieferten Maus. Verwenden Sie ihn nicht für
andere Mäuse/Tastaturen, Beschädigung von Mainboard/Maus/Tastatur möglich!
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzli-
chen Bestimmungen.

USB Connection
Connect the USB plug to a free USB port of your computer. Doing this, the PC does not need to be switched
off. Windows recognizes new hardware and installs the necessary drivers. Since the drivers are integrated
in Windows, there is no driver data carrier included in the delivery.
PS/2 Connection
Then, connect the enclosed PS/2 adapter to the USB port of the mouse. Connect the PS/2 plug to the PS/
2 port of the computer. If your computer has more than one PS/2 ports, please observe the manual of the
PC or of the mainboard to ensure correct connection (if necessary, observe color marking of the mouse's
PS/2 plug and of the PS/2 port of the mainboard, default color is "green").
Reconnect the PC with the mains voltage and switch it on.
The necessary driver is integrated in Windows, the mouse will be recognized automatically.
Tips and Notes
• Before connecting or disconnecting PS/2 devices to the PC, the PC needs to be switched off and
separated from the mains voltage (switch off the mains unit or unplug the mains switch).
• If your PC has several PS/2 interfaces, please observe the manual of your PC or of the mainboard to know
what PS/2 interfaces are suitable for a mouse.
• For notebook computers, parallel operation of a control unit already existing in the notebook (e.g. a
touchpad) and a mouse might not be possible. In this case, connect the mouse to the notebook computer
via USB.
• The optical sensor on the rear side of the mouse does not work correctly on certain surfaces, e.g. on glass
or shiny, reflective surfaces. Use a suitable mouse pad.
• Occasionally check the optical sensor for dust particles that have settled on it and remove them with a
soft brush.
• The enclosed PS/2 adapter works with the enclosed mouse only. Do not use it with outher mice/
keyboards. Possible damaging of mainboard/mouse/keyboard!

Switch off the PC and separate it from the mains voltage (switch off the mains unit or unplug
the mains plug) before connecting or disconnecting the mouse. Otherweise, the main board
or the mouse might be damaged!
Please dispose of the unserviceable device according to the current statutory requirements.
