INSTRUMENT OPERATION - Where applicable (Therma 20 and
Therma 22) connect a probe via the socket located at the top of the
instrument, screw in the collar of the plug, finger tight, to ensure a
secure connection (do not over tighten). Switch the instrument on
and apply the tip of the probe to the substance or medium to be
measured. The instrument reading may take a few seconds to
stabilise, depending on the nature of the measurement and
sensitivity of the probe.
OPEN CIRCUIT/FAULTY PROBE - If the probe has developed an
'Open Circuit' fault the instrument will display 'Err'.
SENSORS - The ThermaCheck incorporates a fixed thermistor probe.
The Therma 20 operates with an interchangeable thermistor probe.
The Therma 22 operates with either a interchangeable thermistor or
type T thermocouple probe. These instruments are designed to be
compatible with ThermoWorks manufactured probes.
CHANGE FROM FAHRENHEIT TO CELSIUS - Press and hold the
"ON/OFF" button for 5 seconds and the displayed temperature will
change from °F and °C.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT - The instrument will display 'LO BAT' to
warn that the batteries will need changing soon. The instrument
continues to measure accurately but after further usage the
instrument will display 'flat bat' and shutdown. Replace the batteries
with three AAA batteries located under the rear cover that is held in
place by a single screw.
GUARANTEE - This instrument carries a two-year warranty against
defects in either components or workmanship. During this period,
products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion of
ThermoWorks, be either repaired or replaced without charge. This
warranty does not apply to probes, where a six-month period is
offered. The product warranty does not cover damage caused by fair
wear and tear, abnormal storage conditions, incorrect use, accidental
misuse, abuse, neglect, misapplication or modification. Full details of
liability are available with ThermoWorks' Terms & Conditons of Sale
available by request. In line with our policy of continuous develop-
ment, we reserve the right to amend our product specification
without prior notice.

FR - UTILISATION DE L'INSTRUMENT - Si besoin est (Therma
20 et Therma 22), connectez une sonde par l'intermédiaire de la
douille située en haut de l'instrument, serrez à la main la collerette
de la prise, pour garantir une bonne connection (ne serrez pas
trop). Allumez l'instrument et appliquez la pointe de la sonde à la
substance ou au milieu à mesurer. La stabilisation de l'indication
de l'instrument peut prendre quelques secondes, en fonction de la
nature de la mesure et de la sensibilité de la sonde.
CIRCUIT OUVERT/SONDE DEFECTUEUSE - Si la sonde a
développé un défaut 'Circuit Ouvert', l'instrument affichera 'Err'.
CAPTEURS - Le ThermaCheck incorpore une sonde thermistance
fixe. Le Therma 20 fonctionne avec une sonde thermistance
interchangeable. Le Therma 22 fonctionne avec une sonde
thermistance interchangeable ou thermocouple de type T. Ces
instruments sont conçus pour être compatibles avec les sondes
fabriquées par ThermoWorks.

(piles à plat) et s'éteindra. Remplacez les piles par trois piles AAA
situées sous le couvercle arrière qui est maintenu en place par une
seule vis.
DE - BEDIENUNG DES INSTRUMENTS - Sofern zutreffend
(Therma 20 und Therma 22) schließen Sie zuerst eine Messsonde
an die Buchse an der Oberseite des Instruments an, schrauben Sie
die Hülse des Steckers handfest ein (nicht zu fest drehen), um eine

KABELBRUCH/FEHLER DES MESSFÜHLERS - Wenn bei der
Messsonde ein Kabelbruch vorliegt, wird auf dem Instrument 'Err'
angezeigt.
SENSOREN - Das ThermaCheck enthält eine fest installierte
Thermistorsonde. Das Therma 20 arbeitet mit
auswechselbaren Thermistorsonde. Das Therma 22 arbeitet
entweder mit einer austauschbaren Thermistorsonde oder
mit einer Typ-T-Thermoelementsonde. Diese Instrumente sind
kompatibel mit den von ThermoWorks hergestellten Messsonden.
ÄNDERN VON FAHRENHEIT AUF CELSIUS - Drücken und
halten Sie die "ON / OFF" Taste für 5 Sekunden und die angezeigte
