Digital output
The digital output "O.K." is logical "1" when the fan module is functioning correctly. The digital output switches to logical "0"
in the event of a fan module alarm.
The digital output is only suitable for controlling a digital input according to IEC 61131-2, type 3.

Control of the fan
If you operate a CPU with the fan module, make sure that the fan is in operation. You can control the operation of the fan
with the following measures, for example:
•
Evaluation of the digital output "O.K."
•
Functional checks
Note
Fan module out of operation with a fail-safe CPU
If the fan module was out of operation and at the same time the ambient temperature was >50 °C, arrange for a repeat test
(proof test) of the fail-safe CPU with the manufacturer.
