"Countdown": The consumer is switched off after the set time has elapsed.
• Plug the countdown timer into an appropriately earthed mains socket (wall socket) with its
mains plug (1).
• Plug the consumer into the socket (4) on the front of the countdown timer; make sure the plug
is pushed into the socket fully.
• If the consumer connected to the countdown timer has a power switch, switch it on (the
switch setting marked e.g., "ON" or "I").
• Select the desired countdown time with the sliding switch (3) at the side. A time of 0.5h, 1h,
3h or 6h can be set.
• Start the countdown timer by briefl y touching the touch button (6) on the top.
The function depends on the operating mode you have selected with the sliding switch (2) on
the back:

off and is switched on after the countdown time has elapsed; the LED (5) is permanently
illuminated.
Operating mode "Countdown": The consumer is switched on immediately, the LED (5) is
illuminated. After the countdown time has elapsed, the consumer is switched off automati-

The countdown can be stopped early at any time by touching the touch button (6).
The countdown timer and the connected consumer are switched off; the LED (5)
goes out.
If the touch button (6) is touched again, the countdown timer restarts with the set
operating mode and countdown time.
If the countdown is already active and you move the sliding switch (3), the set time
is increased or decreased automatically.
