Before first Use

Remove all parts of the handheld mixing set of the packaging and check for
damage in transit. Dispose of packaging material or store it out of reach of
children. Plastic bags may become a deadly toy for children.
Before using your appliance for the first time, thoroughly clean the unit and all
accessories.

Operating the Mixer with Stand

Use the stand for your assistance. So you have both hands free for preparing
the food.
1. Insert the beaters (4) or the dough hooks (7) into the motor housing (11).
Please note that the included beaters and dough hooks are unequal parts.
If the beaters or dough hooks are not properly inserted, the bowl will not
rotate.
Insert the beater or dough hook with the small white toothed ring (8) into
the opening with the same toothed symbol. Additionally you will find a white
plastic shroud on the bottom side of the mixer. The beater with the white,
toothed ring has to be inserted into this opening.
2. Place the bowl (5) on the surface on the stand. Keep the releasing button
for the lay-on arm (9) pressed and tilt the lay-on arm backward until the arm
locks in this position.
3. Place the mixer on the lay-on arm and press down the device until it locks.
4. Hold the releasing knob (9) pressed and turn the lay-on arm forwards until
it locks in place.
5. Plug in the appliance. Put the ingredients into the bowl. To switch on the
mixer, push the speed selector (2) to the left or to the right.
Push the speed selector to the left and keep the selector pressed, the
mixer will start with pulsed operation. When releasing the speed selector,
the mixer switches off.
Preferably start with a smaller setting such as 1 or 2 and continue with a
higher setting. The max. speed is set with the switch position 5. The turbo
button enables full power of the unit. After operating the mixer continuously
for 5 minutes, allow it to cool down for approx. 15 minutes. Do not operate
the mixer for more than 5 minutes continuously.
