To maximise performance it is necessary to
have straight inlet and outlet conditions, and a
certain distance between the meter and bends,
pumps, and valves. It is also important to centre
the flowmeter in relation to pipe flanges and
gaskets.
Valves must always be placed after the flow-
meter. The only exception is when installing
the sensor in a vertical pipe.
