How to fit and remove a
routing cutter
Important!
The collet (1) is held in the
clamping nut (2) by collar (A).
Never tighten the collet without
a cutter.
Always use cutters which match
the diameter of the collet.
The maximum routing head is
not to exceed a diameter of
40 mm.
Fitting
Insert the cutter in the collet a
minimum distance of 20 mm.
Press the lever catch (3)
forward until the routing spindle
is blocked ( you may need to
turn the spindle slightly).
Tighten the clamping nut with
the spanner (4).
Removal
Undo the clamping nut with the
spanner.
Keep turning the spanner until
the combined action of the
clamping nut and collar
releases the collet from the
cone.
Remove the cutter.
Each time you finish using the
router, remove the cutter and
store in a safe place.
How to change the
carbon brushes
After undoing the 2 screws (1),
take off the cover (2).
Unscrew the retaining clip (3).
Replace the carbon brush and
re-insert.
Always use original Einhell
spare parts.
