Now attach the prepared Router to the Table:
1. Lay the table over on one side and hold the router with the adapter plate
against the mounting surface under the table.
2. Now mount the router with the silver coloured countersunk screws to the
table. Insert the screws through the table into the threaded holes on the
edges of the adapter plate.
3. Make sure the switch on the table is not connected to the power mains.
Plug the router into the switch on the table.
4. Insert a table insert which matches the tool in the router to keep the
workpiece from becoming jammed in the tool. Table inserts are included.
5. Finally, mount the hose of the dust extraction system in a suitable way.
Connect the attached Router EXCLUSIVELY to the attached switch,
and use the switch only for the attached router!
The switch is a safety switch, it can only be turned on while the cover is
open and it will automatically turn off if the power goes down to prevent
unexpected restart.
Now assemble the Main Fence:
1. When assembling the main fence please follow the exploded view on page
11 and the photos on page 10. The fence boards are mounted to the pre-
assembled fence with the included carriage bolts and wing nuts. During
operation the movable part of the fence can be adjusted in such a way that
the work piece has good contact to both sides of the fence after material
has been removed. When needed, the top fence and the front fence can
be attached to prevent the work piece from climbing on the tool or to move
to the front during operation.
2. Alternatively the work piece can be guided free hand, using only a guide
pin (Number 13 in the exploded view) which can be inserted into the
threaded hole next to the tool opening in the table.
3. Use the utmost care when guiding a work piece free hand.
Observe the safety notes supplied by the manufacturer of your
router!
