Connecting to the Multi Task Sharpener 85 93 52
The flexible shaft is intended for use with the multi task sharpener 85 93 52.
Do not use it with other devices. Open the spring loaded cover of the socket in
the sharpener and screw the shaft into the socket. Make sure the square end
engages with the square socket in the drive shaft of the unit.
If the shaft slides out of its sheath just slide it back into the sheath. Make sure
the square ends engage with the connections.
Using the Flexible Shaft
You can arrest the shaft by pulling back the locking ring (b). Once the shaft is
arrested you can open the collet (c).
Never operate the locking ring while the machine is running!

Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing
 Before each use, check the connection to the multi task sharpener. Also
check for other general damages.
 Immediately turn off the machine, if an unusual sound is noticed or unusual
vibrations occur. If the machine shows any kind of damage, do not continue
to use it, but have it repaired by a professional or turn to our customer
support department.
 Use only mild detergent and a moist cloth to clean the shaft.
 Store the shaft indoors in a place that is protected from dust, dirt, humidity
and extreme temperatures.
 Store the shaft out of reach of children.
