6.2 Pulling a load (Fig. 4)
Move the selector lever to the upper position
to enable the load to be pulled.
The selector lever (4) must be latched in the
upper position. Never carry out your work if
the lock is not latched in place.
Turn the hand crank (5) clockwise to pull the
load to the desired position.
6.3 Setting the load down (Fig. 3)
Move the selector lever to the lower position
to enable the load to be released.
The selector lever (4) must be latched in the
lower position. Never carry out your work if
the lock is not latched in place.
Turn the hand crank (5) counterclockwise to
release the load at the desired position.
6.4 Releasing the hook
Once the load is at the desired position, secu-
re it to prevent it rolling away or slipping away.
Slacken the cable a little to enable the draw
hook (2) to be removed.
7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
7.1 Cleaning and maintenance
1. For a service life which is as long as possible
and to maintain the operational safety of the
hand rope winch, remove dirt from your hand
rope winch at regular intervals, carefully apply
grease to the parts after use and store it in a
dry location.
2. Do not undertake any technical modifi cations
or repairs to your hand rope winch yourself.
These must be carried out by an expert.
3. The hand rope winch must be checked for
damage at regular intervals.
4. The hand rope winch must be checked at
regular intervals to ensure that it is in proper
working order.

8. Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to pre-
vent it from being damaged in transit. The raw
materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
be taken to a suitable collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council offi ces.
9. Storage
Store the equipment and accessories in a dark
and dry place at above freezing temperature. The
ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30
°C. Store the electric tool in its original packaging.
