5. Assembly
Note: Fitting the roof support to the roof is dangerous
and can result in injury and even death.
Therefore please be sure to read section 1, "Safety
Regulations".
It is imperative that you observe all the installation
notes in the assembly instructions issued for the
split-system air conditioner. If wind speeds of over 80
km/h are likely at the point of installation you must
provide additional anchorage for the roof support.
Warning!
Earthing and lightening protection work may only be
carried out by specialist electricians due to the risk of
sub-standard results!
Never carry out earthing or lightening protection work
if you are not a specialist with the corresponding
knowledge and expertise.
Assembly step 1:
Screw the vertical connecting profiles (B) to the base
mounts (A) using the M8x15 screws, washers and
50x25x13 M8 brackets (F).
Assembly step 2:
Use the M6x65 screws to screw the fastening profile
(D), Ø 12x46 spacer tube, washers and M6 hex nuts
to the vertical connecting profile (C). Push the Ø
12x46 spacer tube (H) between the legs of the
connecting profile (C) in order to prevent the profile
from being pushed out of place.
Assembly step 3:
Connect the horizontal connecting profiles to the
base mounts (A) using the M8 x 35 screws, washers
and 50x25x13 M8 brackets (G). Slide the anti-
vibration rubber (L) onto the base mounts (A). Two
anti-vibration rubbers are required for each of the
base mounts.
Assembly step 4:
Fasten the stay (E) to the fastening profile (D) and
the vertical connecting profiles (C) by hand with the

M6x65 screws, the Ø 12x46 spacer tube, washers
and M6 hex nuts (H). Push the 10x50 spacer tube
(H) between the legs of the fastening profiles (D) and
400 - 760 mm
the connecting profile (C) respectively in order to
100 - 380 mm
prevent the profiles from being flattened out of
500 mm shape.

Assembly step 5 - Mounting on the roof:
140 kg
Note: We strongly recommend to have the roof
support mounted by an experienced technician.
After re-checking the horizontal alignment of the
fastening profiles (D) on the roof, screw everything
tightly together. Fasten the support with the supplied
chain and dowels to the eyebolt (I) on a nearby wall.
Use only suitable fastening material. The supplied
dowels and screws are suitable for the following:
concrete, natural stone with a dense microstructure,
solid bricks, solid sand-lime bricks, solid blocks made
of lightweight concrete, pore concrete (gas concrete),
vertical coring bricks, cord sand-lime bricks and
hollow blocks made of lightweight concrete.
Make sure that the support anchorage is actually
able to carry the total weight. If the roof support has
to be fastened elsewhere (for example to the roofʼs
rafters), this work must be carried out by
professionals in order to prevent damage for
example to the roof or the roofʼs heat insulation.
Fasten the outdoor air conditioner to the support
using the installation material supplied in "assembly
bag M".
