The HOLD button (2)
With the HOLD Button (2) you can freeze any current value on
the display (4). The word "HOLD" (D) is shown. To continue
taking measurements, press the HOLD Button again to release
the button.
If you press the hold button (2) lightly, the button does not snap
and the current value on the display is freezed until the finger will
be released from the button.
Before first Use
Unpack the digital clamp meter and check the unit for any
damage in transit. Dispose of packaging materials or store it out
of reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy
for children.
Inserting the Batteries
Attention! Before changing the batteries! Disconnect the unit from
all circuitry and remove the measuring cables.
1. Use the rotary function switch (3) to turn the unit OFF.
The unit is powered by three CR2032 batteries.
2. Loosen the screw of the battery compartment lid (8) on the
back side. Insert or change the batteries. Make sure the
+poles (plus pole) face upwards.
3. Replace the battery compartment lid and fasten the screw. Do
not operate the meter with the battery compartment lid re-
moved.
When the low battery symbol
batteries should be replaced.
Connecting the Measuring Cables
The measuring cables provided are capable of taking measure-
ments up to a maximum of 600 V.
