hints to avoid damages. Any failure caused by ignoring the mentioned items and cautions mentioned in the
instruction manual are not covered by our warranty and any liability.

• Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future reference.
• Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap. Only use a moist cloth
to clean the motor unit.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect
the appliance.
• To avoid a hazardous situation due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, never connect this ap-
pliance to a timer switch.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains cord, the plug or other parts are damaged.
• If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by supplier, or a service centre or similarly qualifed
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Never reach into the blender beaker with your fingers or an object while the appliance is plugged in or ope-
rates. The cutting edges of the blade unit are very sharp.
• If the blade unit gets stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block the blade unit.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never let the appliance operate unattended.
