Timer Function
Use the timer with the scales folded up.
1. Press
2. Press and hold
3. TMR flashes in the Display.
4. Use HRS/MIN and MIN/SEC to set the desired time.
5. Press
an alarm sounds for 20 seconds.
6. Press any button to turn off the alarm.

Turning the Scales Off:
1. If the scales are not used for more than one minute, they will
automatically turn off.
2. To conserve battery power, turn off the scales immediately after use.

Calibration
Under certain conditions the scales may loose their calibration. To recalibrate
the scales, proceed as follows:
1. With the scales folded out and in the time display mode, press and
hold MODE and TARA, then .
2. Release all buttons. The display now shows a code.
3. Press
4. Place a weight of exactly 2000 g on the scales.
5. Press
6. The display shows CAL, and then PASS and 2000g.
The scales are now recalibrated.
Cleaning:
Use a moist cloth to clean the scales. Do not use aggressive chemicals or
abrasives. Do not immerse the unit in liquids of any kind.
