Before first Use

Remove all parts from the packing and check for damage in transit.
Clean all parts of the appliance before using the first time as described below
under "Cleaning" on page 11.
When operating the oven for the first time it is wise to heat up the oven
without content. The unusual smell is normal and no cause for concern.
Ventilate the room sufficiently.

Assembling and Heating up

1. Place the toast oven on a solid, level surface.
2. Connect the appliance only to an earthed wall socket. Make sure the
thermostat (1) and the timer (5) are in the "OFF" position.
3. Turn the thermostat to 240°C and let the oven to heat up - without any food,
grille or baking tray - for at least 10 minutes. Switch off the oven and allow the
appliance to cool down fully.
4. Clean the oven with a moistened cloth and less detergent and dry the oven
fully before using it again.

Timer

Turn the timer clockwise to set the operating time up to 15 minutes. After
expiration of the preset time you will hear a bell ring and the toast oven
switches off automatically.
To select the "Stay On" feature turn the timer counter clockwise. Now you
can use the toast oven for baking, grilling, toasting etc. as long as you manu-
ally turn the timer to the OFF position.
You can turn the timer back at any time, if you have turned the switch too
much. Use the settings „Light", „Toast" and „Dark" for toasting food. Turn the
thermostat to the desired temperature
