The appliance of the AR6201-MX enrolment reader is build for online operation, i.e.
the functions will be controlled by the Host PC over the RS232 interface.
After connecting the RS232 interface and switch on the power supply the Host PC
will dispose of the whole functions.
The reading range of the enrolment reader AR6201-MX is up to 70 mm. The kind
of transponder used (ID card, key fob, etc.) also has an important influence on the
reading distance.
Mind that the card readers are not installed near computer terminals, TV sets, etc.
as these devices might also affect the reading range.
