G. Adjusting the cutting angle.
Push the Rotating knob (7) and then rotate the shaft to a comfortable position and release the button as you hear the 'click' sound.
There are 3 levers.
H. Trimmer as edge cutter.
In order to use the grass trimmer as an edge cutter, use the settings as follows:
1. Disconnect the mains plug, Push the rotating knob (5) on the motor housing, and then rotate the housing to the edge
position.
2. Rotate the edging knob button (6), ensure the motor housing section firmly clicks to secure in place as it audibly snaps into
position.
3. Now the trimmer can be used as the edge cutter.
I. Mains connection
Compare the voltage given on the machine model plate e.g. 230 V with the mains voltage and connect the unit to the relevant and
properly earthed plug, Only hook up the machine by means of a fault-current circuit breaker (30 mA).
Note: Use connecting or extension cables up to a length of 25 m featuring a core cross section of at least 1.5 mm².
Preparing the Trimmer For Use
Note: To avoid detaching power cable always check that it is attached firmly to cable hook, before using trimmer.
1. Make a loop with the power cable and push it through the square hole under the grip of the trigger.
2. Place the end of the loop round cable hook and ensure it is pulled firmly enough to prevent it coming loose while operating
the trimmer.
