Operation

a) Installation location
Carry the product by the handle located on the rear protective grille (4). Put the product with the
stand (10) on a dry, clean, level and stable surface.
Keep a sufficient distance from devices generating heat.
Do not put the product under vases or flower pots to avoid the product coming into
contact with dripping water.
b) Turning on/off, setting fan speed
1. Ensure the 1–0–2 (7) switch is set to 0. Connect the mains plug (9) to a suitable mains
outlet.
2. Set the 1–0–2 switch to 1. The fan turns at low speed. Set the 1–0–2 switch to 2. The fan
turns at high speed.
3. Turn the 1–0–2 switch to 0 to turn the fan off.
4. Change the airflow by carefully moving the motor case (6) up- or downwards. Do not use
excessive force when moving the motor case. Move the motor case only as far as it will go.

Maintenance and cleaning

a) General information
• Before cleaning the product, turn it off and disconnect the mains plug from the mains outlet.
• Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Regularly wipe the fan's parts, including protective grille and stand, with a dry dust cloth.
• When the product is not used for an extended period of time, cover it and store it in a dry
place protected from solar radiation.
b) Cleaning the rotor blade and protective grilles
In case of increased dust deposits on the rotor blade, the product can be disassembled as
follows:
1. Open the brackets on the front protective grille (1).
2. Remove the safety screw (12) from the front grille using a suitable Phillips screwdriver.
3. Push the protective grille upwards to release it from the top retainer and remove it.
4. There is a safety screw behind the rotor blade. Loosen the safety screw of the rotor blade
using a suitable Phillips screwdriver and pull the rotor blade (2) off the rotor shaft (5) to the
front.
Caution, risk of injury! The rotor blade has sharp edges.
5. Loosen the mounting ring (3) for the rear protective grille (4). For this, unscrew the mounting
ring counterclockwise.
6. Remove the rear protective grille from the motor case (6).
7. Clean the rotor blade and protective grilles with a slightly dampened cloth.
8. Afterwards, thoroughly dry all parts.
9. Assemble the parts in reverse order. Ensure the rear protective grille is inserted in such
a way that the pins on the motor case catch into the upper and lower opening on the
protective grille.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
