Installation and Connection

Overview of the assembly of your camera:
Find a suitable place for mounting from which the area to be monitored can be observed. A
suitable place for installation of this camera has the following features:
• Vibration-free
• No direct sunlight
Select a mounting location that is not shielded, for example, by reinforced concrete
walls, stea med up mirrors or metal shelves. There should be no devices that pro-
duce strong electrical fi elds, such as mobile telephones, radios or electrical motors,
close to the device. This can disturb the radio transmission or limit the range. Heat
sources can cause malfunctions or defects.
Do not point the camera directly toward a source of bright sunlight or towards strong
or indirect illumination as this may lead to overexposure and a fuzzy picture.
Mounting the radio camera
None of the connection cables must be bent or squeezed. This can result in
malfunctions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure that cables are not damaged when drilling or bolting into place.
Ensure that the plug and socket of the camera's connection cable are not ex-
posed to dampness. Plugs and sockets may only be used indoors. The came-
ra cable must (for installation in outdoor areas or in damp rooms) be placed
so it is led into a dry room.
Do not point the camera directly toward a source of bright sunlight or toward
strong or indirect illumination as this may lead to overexposure and a fuzzy
picture.

Connecting the wireless camera
• Connect the supplied power unit's low-voltage connector to the „DC IN 5 V" (7) power con-

Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning the housing of the surveillance camera, remove it from the mains voltage and
disconnect the power transformer from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the camera, it is suffi cient to use a dry, soft and clean cloth.
Clean the lens very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any aggressive cleaning
agents.
• Find a suitable location for
mounting the ca mera.

mounting ho les. Mark these
(e.g. with a pencil) on the wall.

the wall with suitable moun ting
