1. Intended use
The product facilitates wireless audio playback of any Bluetooth
or MP3 player. In addition, it serves as a hands-free system for Bluetooth
supplied via an integrated LiPo battery that can be charged via the included USB cable. Contact with moisture,
for example in bathrooms, must be avoided.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
Persons / Product
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage your hearing.
• The operation of the product must not divert the user attention away from his/her immediate surrounding.
• The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.
Rechargeable batteries
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery might cause an
explosion or a fire! Unlike conventional batteries/rechargeable batteries (e.g. AA or AAA type), the casing
of the LiPo rechargeable battery does not consist of a thin sheet but rather a sensitive plastic film only.
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the battery or the product into fire.
There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you do are not using the product. Due to the rechargeable
battery technology being used, you do not need to discharge the rechargeable battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is normal that a certain amount
of heat is generated during charging.
Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical
support service or other technical personnel.

1. Place the product on a clean, dry and non-slip surface. The rubber feet (7) contribute to its stability.

Charging the battery
1. Completely charge the battery of the product before its first use.
2. Connect the USB cable's Mini-USB plug to the Mini-USB socket (4) on the rear of the product.
3. Connect the USB cable's USB plug to an available USB socket on your computer.

4. As soon as the power supply is established, the status LED (5) shines red.
5. Complete charging of the battery takes approximately 2 – 3 hours. When the battery is fully charged, the
status LED goes out.
6. Disconnect the USB cable from the product.
If the battery charge level is low, the status LED flashes 1 x every 30 seconds.

Pairing
Before audio files can be transmitted, e.g., from a mobile phone to the Bluetooth
pairing procedure (coupling) has to be carried out. Also be sure to read the operating instructions for your
mobile phone.
Proceed as follows:
1. Set up the Bluetooth speaker no more than 1 m from your mobile phone (or another device with Bluetooth
®
2. Switch the Bluetooth speaker on with the ON/OFF switch.

3. Push and hold down the function button (1) until the status LED begins to flash alternately red and blue. Two
tones can be heard. Then release the function button.

5. Start the pairing procedure on your mobile phone (see operating instructions for your mobile phone). If you
are requested to enter a pin code at the start of the connection to the Bluetooth
four digits "0000".
6. If the pairing was successful and there is a Bluetooth
and the status LED stops flashing alternately red and blue. It now flashes 1 x every 5 seconds.
7. If you now start a music playback on the mobile phone, the audio output will be via the product's speaker (8).

6. Operation

Accepting/ending a call
Press the function button (1) in order to
- accept an incoming call (2 tones can be heard).
- end a phone conversation (one tone can be heard).
If you receive a call during a music playback, the music is muted. As soon as you end the call,
the music playback is continued.
Refusing a call
When you hear the ring tone, press and hold down the function button for approx. 2 seconds until you hear 2
tones. The call was refused. A missed call is displayed on your mobile phone.
Redialling
To call the phone number last dialled, press and hold down the function button until you hear a tone.
Transferring a call
Press and hold down the function button during a call for approx. 3 seconds until you hear a tone. The
conversation is transferred to the mobile phone or to the Bluetooth
Voice-controlled dialling
1. This function presupposes that your mobile phone is equipped with a voice recognition function. First,
activate the voice recognition function on your mobile phone. Read your mobile phone's operating
instructions for further details.
2. To make a call via voice control, press the function button of the Bluetooth

3. Now say your instructions into the microphone (2) on the Bluetooth
Muting the microphone
1. You can mute the microphone during a call. Turn the head of the product anti-clockwise and hold it in this
position until 2 tones can be heard. If muting is activated, 2 tones can be heard every 8 seconds.
2. To deactivate muting, turn the head of the product anti-clockwise and hold it in this position until 2 tones
can be heard.
Setting the volume
1. Turn the head of the product clockwise to gradually increase the volume. Each turn of the head increases
the volume by one step. Turn it anti-clockwise to gradually decrease the volume. Each turn of the head
decreases the volume by one step.
2. When the maximum volume is reached, a high tone can be heard as soon as you turn the head clockwise.
When the minimum volume is reached, a dull tone can be heard as soon as you turn the head anti-clockwise.
