• Spray larger areas using crosswise strokes (see picture).
• Begin the spraying motion before pulling the control lever (15) and continue the movement
for a short while after you have released the control lever (15).
• Reduce the spraying distance for fine finishing works, and increase the distance for spraying
large surfaces.
• Wait a bit between the individual spraying cycles so that the paint can dry and „drooping" can
be avoided.

Maintenance and Care

Carefully clean out the airbrush gun after each use. Don't leave it unclean over
a longer period of time. Or else the airbrush gun will become unusable.
Do not use mechanical force when cleaning the gun, because these are preci-
sion components that can be damaged very easily.
• Empty the colour cup (19) after spraying by pouring out the remaining colour, and spraying it
out until only compressed air comes out of the spray nozzle (13).
• Refill the colour cup (19), depending on the colours that were used, with water or a suitable
solvent, and spray until the cup is empty. Repeat the procedure two or three times.
• After this process pull the control lever (15) once more all the way to the stop so that the
inside of the spray nozzle (13) is cleaned by the flow of compressed air.
• Unscrew the colour cup (19) from the spray gun and clean gun and cover (18) with water or
solvent.
• Unscrew the needle cover (12) from the spray gun and clean with water or solvent.
• Unscrew the cap (3) and carefully pull the needle (14) out of the bearing (5). Be careful not to
lose the spring (2) located under the cap and the actuating sleeve (8). Clean the needle (14)
in water or solvent. Proceed carefully, and don't use any force; the needle is very delicate.
• Reassemble the airbrush gun by pushing the needle (14) back into the bearing (5), attach the
actuating sleeve (8), the spring (2) and screw on the cap (3) and the needle cover (12).
When you screw on the needle cover (12), take care that you twist it onto the thread only so
far until it sits even with the spray nozzle (13). Lock the needle cover (12) with the counter nut
(11).
• Apply acid-free grease to the needle (14) monthly, to ensure that it moves smoothly and no
corrosion is being built up. However, do not use grease when you are working mainly with
water-soluble colours.
Disposal
Please dispose of the product according to the current statutory requirements at the
end of its useful life.
