5. A few seconds later the door bell receiver is detected as a USB
mass storage device. It will be integrated as a new removable
drive in the operating system.
6. Using the Windows Explorer for example, you can transfer new
ringtone in MP3 format or WMA format from the PC to the SD
card that has been inserted in the card slot (10) of the receiver.
Or you can delete selected ringtones from the SD card.
Alternatively, you can read and write the content of the SD card
with a suitable card reader that is connected to your computer.
Notes:
It does not matter what folders or subfolders are used to store the
audio files. The door bell receiver will scan the entire memory
card for supported files.
Only audio files in MP3 format or WMA format are supported.
However not all the various sub-file formats might be supported
by the software.
Depending on your computer or operating system more or less
time for identification and integration of the door bell receiver into
the system is required after connecting.
Never disconnect the door bell receiver from the computer during
a file transfer. This can lead to data loss.
When disconnecting the computer from the door bell receiver,
always use the methods provided by the operating system (e.g.,
"Safely Remove Hardware") to prevent data loss and damage to
the hardware.
