Quick Start Guide

1. UNPACK—Your Neoware thin client appliance is typically shipped with the following items:
• A mouse
• A power cable
• A stand for stabilizing your thin client appliance in a vertical orientation (attached)
• This Quick-Start Guide
2. SETUP—Your thin client appliance is designed to be installed in vertical orientation.
1. Connect the keyboard to the keyboard port.
2. Connect the mouse to the mouse port.
3. Depending on your configuration, connect your printer to the parallel port.
4. Connect the LAN cable to the 10/100 Based T Ethernet port.
5. Connect the AC cable to the power cord connector.
3. CONNECTIONS—Connect the supplied power cord, mouse, and keyboard to the ports
labeled 1, 8, and 9, respectively. Connect your monitor's cable to the monitor port (5).

4. POWER UP—In order to turn on your appliance, push in the circular on/off button on its
front panel. To turn off your thin client appliance, push the on/off button again. (You may need
to hold the button in for 5 seconds, depending upon how the appliance is configured).
