Use a flexible hose to connect the air hammer to the compressor. Set up a
pressure of approx. 6 bar on the compressor. Check all air connections for
leakages.
Switch off the compressor again.
Insert the chisel into the hexagonal chuck (1).
Then slide the retaining spring over the chisel and screw it down onto the
threats on the chipping hammer. Screw the spring down all the way. The
spring is exposed to severe stress during operation. Check it regularly for
cracks and damage and replaced if necessary.

Power up the compressor.
Use the flow regulator (3) to regulate air supply steplessly.
Hold the air hammer firmly with both hands and put the chisel tip up against the
workpiece you want to chip.
Press the trigger (2) and slowly move the air hammer along the workpiece. Do
not push down the chisel against the workpiece. If you are not satisfied with the
result, check the chisel for wear.
First disconnect the air hammer from the air supply when exchanging the
chisels, when not using the unit, after finished working and when applying
maintenance work. Press the trigger in order to remove any remaining air from
the air hammer.
