Changing the Battery

1. Open the battery compartment (4) and replace the spent battery
with one of the same type and dimensions and observe right
polarity.
2. Close the battery compartment until it locks audibly.

Troubleshooting

Poor reception indicates that the battery in the remote control
should be replaced or the transmission range is too large.
If the receiver e.g. the lantern or the floodlight cannot be
switched on, check if the illuminant is defective. Before under-
taking any connection or maintaining work e. g. changing the
illuminant make sure the input lead of the connected receiver is
voltage-free and secured against unattended switching-on.
If there is no reception at all, check the power circuit and mains
power.
Keep in mind that other wireless applications active on the same
frequency band may cause interference. If possible switch off
those applications while using the remote control.
