2. Intended Use

The door intercom system is suitable for access control, e.g. in the private residential area.
The connection between the outdoor and indoor units is performed by the respective
connection cable (at least 5-core).
Power is supplied via the included mains adapter.
A switch output at the outdoor unit (can be used, e.g., for door openers), can be controlled by
special included access cards. This enables, e.g. quick opening of a door.
The indoor unit and the mains adapter are intended for dry indoor use only. The outdoor unit
can be installed and operated in a protected outdoor area.
Read these operating instructions thoroughly and carefully, they contain a lot of important
information for assembly, commissioning and operation.
Any use other than that described above damages the product and involves dangers such as
short-circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
