Electrical Connection
Use only a ground fault circuit interrupter with a trigger current of up to 30 mA
and a protected 230 V wall socked to connect the pump to the power mains.
The wall socked must be protected with at least 6 Ampere.
Please observe all applying regulation when installing the pump in swimming
pools or garden ponds.
Applications
This pump is intended for pumping fresh water, rain water, and chlorinated
water in swimming pools. Do not use it to pump aggressive chemicals,
sewage, acidic or flammable liquids.
Do not allow solids to enter the pump. Gravel, silt, sand or similar material
may damage the pump.
Do not pump liquids which are warmer than 30° Centigrade.

Operation

The pump can be used as a feed pump or as a fountain pump in shallow water.
1. Attach the rubber feet (8) to the pump housing (6).
2. Depending on the intended use, attach the riser pipe either directly to the
pump or use the branch connection (7). To the branch connection you can
either attach the riser pipe or a hose.
3. Use the lateral flange of the branch connection. Use a hose with a diameter
which corresponds with the size of the exhaust flange. A reduction of the
diameter will cause a reduction of the feed rate.
Close the shut off cock to the riser pipe and open the one to the lateral flange.
4. When the pump is used as a fountain pump, the riser pipe can be attached to
the pump with or without branch connection. One of the four included nozzles
can be attached to the riser pipe.
5. Place the pump on a solid surface in the water. Do not submerge the pump
deeper than 3 m.
6. Insert the plug into a protected socket.
7. The pump will now feed the water according to the attached nozzle.
8. In no case allow the pump to run dry. If the pump is running dry it may be
damaged or destroyed.
9. To turn off the pump pull the power plug out.
