Cleaning the Filter
To increase life expectancy of the filter and to maintain the suction power of
the vacuum cleaner, clean the filters regularly.
Allow the filters to dry completely before reinserting into the device. Do not
wash the filters in the washing machine and do not dry the filters in the dryer
or on the heater!
HEPA Filter
1. Remove the dust container. Turn the upper part of the
container counter clockwise and remove the lid of the dust
container.
2. Turn the HEPA filter gently counter clockwise until the locking
pins unlock from the frame. Pull out the filter.
3. Tap out the filter or wash it under running water and using a
soft brush if necessary.
4. Reinsert the HEPA filter into the container not until the filter is
completely dry. The drying time for the filter is about 15 hours
at room temperature. Insert the filter into the frame and turn it
in clockwise direction until the locking pins lock into the
provided notches.
5. If desired you can order a replacement HEPA filter under the
article no. 10 69 48. The filter set contains of a HEPA Filter
and a motor exhaust filter.
Motor Pre-Filter
1. Fist remove the dust container and than take off the pre-filter.
2. Wash the filter under running water. The filter does not need to be replaced.
Motor Exhaust Filter
1. Pull the cover by the protruding clip and remove the motor filter cover. You
can tap out the filter or wash under running water.
2. Replace the motor filter after 9 months if the filter is washed frequently.
Please not that the filtration efficiency will reduce after repeated washing.
3. Reinsert the filter into place not until the filter is completely dry.
