Before first use

BEFORE USE

Please read these instructions carefully. They will give you important advice for the
use security and maintanance of the appliance. Keep the instructions carefully and,
should the situation arise, pass them on to further users.
• The appliance must only be used for the intended purpose according to these
instructions.
• Observe the notes on safety regulations.
• Dispose the packaging properly.

BEFORE USING THE SLICER FOR THE FIRST TIME
Remove all packaging materials. All parts which come into contact with food must
be cleaned.
USE
• Put a tablecloth which is easy-to-clean under the appliance, to prevent the surfa-
ce of your table from spattering fat. We recommend a heat resistant underlay
because of high temperatures.
• Grease the grill plate (1) and pans (5) after they have been cleaned
• Plug the appliance into a duly connected protection contact socket.
• Preheat at maximum temperature for 10 minutes.
When you use the appliance for the first time, you may notice some smoke and
odour as protective grease burns off. Therefore the room should be well ventilated
while this is happening).
