Unwrapping, Setting up

Do not insert the mains plug into the mains socket and do not switch on the device, before connection
works have been completed.
Take out the power mixer with its accessories and its installation parts. They are partly located on the side
in the polystyrene corners of the packaging.
Remove the shaped pieces of the transport packaging from the device. Please retain them for future trans-
ports.
Please check whether the voltage selector has been set to the distribution voltage usual
in your country. See chapter: Terminal Panel on the Back / (16) MAINS Switch and
Change of Fuse.
Only place the device onto an even, stable surface. There needs to be sufficient air circulation for the pow-
er mixer, so that the arising heat can be lead away. Never cover the ventilation slits of the unit. Failure to
observe this note could lead to damages on the unit.
To avoid hum interference in other devices because of the strong magnetic field, please make sure that no
other sensitive electronic devices are placed in the proximity of the location of the power mixer.
Installation of 19" lateral angle
Dismantle the left and/or right side protection and the handle by unscrewing the cross-recessed screws
from these parts with a suitable Philips screwdriver. Loosen the now visible cross-recessed screws on each
side behind the side parts. Place a 19" lateral angle on each side of the unit, so that the narrower side of the
spaces point in the direction of the rubber feet of the unit. Slide the 19" lateral angle with the smaller spaces
underneath the screws and tighten them.

Troubleshooting
With this unit you have bought a state-of-the-art product which is safe to operate. However, problems or
disturbances can arise.
This why we would like to inform you, how such possible occurrences can be eliminated:
Malfunction:
no function, after the power
switch was switched on
no signal in the headphones
channel supplies no signal
Recorder can only be heard over headphones,
not through the speakers
channel supplies no signal to ALT3-4 bus
no sufficient signal without feedback
no signal on speakers
channel supplies distorted signal
audible humming noise
