Before first Use

Remove the laminate cutter and the accessory out of the packaging and check for
any damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. Plastic
bags, etc. can become a dangerous toy for children.

Assembling and Using the Laminate Cutter

 The handle (1) is preinstalled with the blade unit (2). Install the blade to the
blade axis (4) as pictured on page III. Use a wrench or a ratchet to tighten the
nuts on both sides of the axis.
 Install the laminate guide (5) on the
corresponding fixture on the frame of
the laminate cutter depending on the
width of the laminate to be cut. The
laminate guide can be setup to three
different cutting lengths. If required,
secure the laminate guide with two
screws in its place.
 Place the laminate panel with the
tread surface facing up on the lami-
nate cutter. Mark the cutting line on
the tread surface.
 Put the support (7) under the longer
side of the laminate panel.
 Powerfully and evenly pull the blade
through the material to be cut.
 Remove dust and debris from the
cutting opening of the laminate cutter.

Notes:

 The
upper
laminate will be cut properly. But the
edges of the bottom side of the lami-
nate may be lightly frayed out.
 The cutting width of the laminate cutter is approx. 0.4 cm. When cutting, also
include this material waste in calculation. Make sure to place the laminate
panel on the cutter with the cutting line on that side of the panel that should be
floored.
