Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
This operating instruction contains important details for handling the unit.
Please pass the manual on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third
party!
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit. The indoor aerial
is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children.
Never place the unit near or on hot surfaces. Do not place any liquid-filled
objects close to the unit. Do not place candles or any other heat sources next
to the unit. Do not cover the indoor aerial and always place the unit on a solid
and level surface.
Always place the indoor aerial in dry rooms or in an area without moisture. It
is not allowed to use the indoor aerial outdoors. It is not allowed to use the
indoor aerial in a vehicle while driving.
Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, water/moisture, dust/dirt, hot light
sources or strong magnetic fields. Do not expose the unit to excessive tem-
peratures, strong vibrations and strong mechanical stress.
Do not modify the unit in any way.
Do not jam the cords or pull the cords around edges. Do not pinch the power
cords in any way and keep the cords away from hot surfaces. Do not wind the
cords around the unit and do not bend them. Make sure the cords do not
become a tripping hazard.
Do not use the unit in areas with strong electromagnetic fields.
Always unplug the power plug resp. pull the 12 V plug from the low volt jack if
you clean the indoor aerial, if you do not use the unit for long time or in case
of thunder storm.
Should the unit become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble
the unit or try repairing it yourself.
