avoid placing the clock immediately next to metal
frames or constructions.
If reception is successful, the radio tower icon of the
LCD display will start flashing. When the signal is
securely localized, the radio tower icon will remain per-
manently visible on the display.
Some users live in areas in which the correct reception
of DCF signals is severely interrupted by atmospheric
disturbances. Disturbances in such areas tend to be
less severe during the night, so that reception of signals
is possible in almost all cases. The reception of a single
signal per day or night is sufficient to keep any inaccu-
racy of your alarm clock to less than one second within
a period of 24 hours.

e. g. plastic wrappers / bags, polystyrene parts etc. as
they can turn into hazardous toys for children.
