Getting started
Important
Vehicles not compatible with OBD-II / EUOBD can only use the GPS system connected via
USB cable.
The OBD-II may not function correctly with electric vehicles, diesel engines, pickup trucks, rec-
reational vehicles, and computer modified cars. Use the GPS system connected via USB cable
instead.
Use the GPS system connected via USB cable when the voltage is higher than 24 V.
1. Connect the HUD display:
-
: See section "Connection a) OBD system".
-
: See section "Connection a) GPS system".
2. Remove the protective film from the display.
3. Position the HUD on your vehicle dashboard. Use the non-slip mat to keep
it in place.
4. Face the display towards the windscreeen.
5. Power the HUD up by turning the vehicle ignition key.
6. Within (5 s) of HUD flashing, slide the wave button left or right to switch be-
tween OBD and GPS modes.
7. Position the projection on the windscreen.
8. If the image has some ghosting use the reflective film. See section "Pasting the reflective film".
Basic operation
Button descriptions are when the wave button is facing towards the windscreen
Within (5 s) of HUD flashing, slide the wave button left or right to switch between OBD and GPS modes.
Push right to toggle between highspeed, all, and speed only display modes.
Push down to toggle through information such as voltage, coolant temperature, speed, and GPS satellite
numbers.
Attach reflective film
1. Position the projection where you would like it to be.
2. Hold the reflective film flat against the windscreen. Note where the entire projected image is within the
screen.
Experiment with different positions to achieve the best result.
3. Make sure the area is clean, use water and a lint-free cloth to wipe the glass.
4. Spray some water where you intend to attach the screen.
5. Tear off the backing marked "1" then carefully lay it over the glass.
