Replacing the
Decorative Plate
This section describes how to remove
and replace the decorative plate of the
drive.
To remove the decorative plate
1
Place the drive horizontally on a
flat surface.

Unhook the rear of the plate
with your fingers, and then
unhook the middle of the plate
the same way.
Note
Slide your fingernails into the slots under
the plate hooks to perform this procedure.

Slide the plate forward to
unhook it from the front of the
drive, and then remove it.

To replace the decorative plate
1
Align the plate with the front of
the drive so that the hooks
mate with the notches on the
drive.

Lower the plate toward the rear
of the drive.

Make sure that the center
hooks and rear hooks snap into
position. When they do, the
plate is secure.
