[3] OPERATION switch
Changes the operation mode of the unit as follows.

Select the position of this switch when the POWER
switch is turned off.
Internal stacking operation
CHANNEL 2 has the same
signal as the CHANNEL 1 input

Connect speakers. Connect the + speaker terminal to
the red terminal, — speaker terminal to the black
terminal.
When the unit is on monaural operation through BTL,
use only the red terminals. Connect the + speaker
terminal to the red terminal on the OUTPUT 1 side, —
speaker terminal to the red terminal on the OUTPUT 2
side.

Ventilation hole
BAL/UNBAL (balanced/unbalanced) switch —
When you set the switch to BAL, the unit feeds in the
input signal from the source connected to the XLR type
INPUT connector.
When you set the switch to UNBAL, the unitfeeds in the
input signal from the source connected to the XLR type
INPUT connector* or to the phono type INPUT jacks.
You can make a stacking connection with another
amplifier since these input connectors are inparallel
connection.
*(n this case, the XLR type INPUT connector accepts
unbalanced input (Number 2: HOT).
FUSE holder
There is a fuse to prevent damage from excessive
current. Current capacity is 8A for the MU-A400 and 4A
for the MU-A200. When you replace the fuse, be sure to
use one with the same capacity.
~AC IN (inlet)
Connect the AC power cord supplied. The tnit operates
on 220-240V AC, 50/60 Hz.
By using the mounting parts on both sides, you can install
the unit in an EIA standard 19-inch rack.
If you install various pieces of equipment one upon another,
remove the unit's bottom support. To remove, pull out the
screws of the supports, by using a screwdriver. -
