SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Children are not aware of the dangers of electronic devices. Never leave the
device unattended while it is in use. Therefore, always keep the device out of
the reach of children.
• The device is suitable for household use only. Never use the device outdoors.
• Make sure that the device and the mains cable never come into contact with
hot devices such as hotplates or open flames.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the sink, countertop, or table.
• Make sure your hands are dry when you touch the device, the power cord or
the plug.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• The device must be able to dissipate its heat to prevent a fire. Therefore, make
absolutely sure that the device has enough free space on all sides and does
not come into contact with combustible materials. The device must not be
covered.
• Do not use the device near explosives or flammable materials.
• Do not use a metal scouring pad to clean the device. Metal parts could come
loose and touch the electrical parts of the device and cause a short circuit.
• Always turn off the device when:
• A malfunction occurs during use.
• You are servicing or cleaning the device.
• You are attaching or removing accessories.
• You unplug the device from the power outlet.
• You have stopped using the device.
• Never switch off the device by pulling the cable.
• Always contact an approved, trained service technician if the device or the
cable is damaged, malfunctions or if the device needs to be repaired. Never
repair this device yourself! Self-performed or improper repairs can lead to
significant dangers for the user.
• Remove the plug from the mains socket when the device is not in use and
before cleaning it.
• This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children must not play with the device.
