Cleaning
∙
Attention! Pull the plug before cleaning and allow
the device to cool down.
∙ Never immerse the unit into water.
∙ Remove the inner pot and clean it with a mild detergent (do
not use any aggressive cleaner, like steel wool.).
∙ Clean the heating plate and the contact area of the thermostat
at the outer pot with a damp cloth, take care that the thermo-
stat gets not deformed.
∙ Clean the inside of the lid and the drip collector box and dry it
completely.
∙ Do not damage the sealing ring of the lid during cleaning.

Workplace

Important:
Never place this device on or next to hot surfaces (e.g. hot sto-
ves). Only use it on a even, stable and a heat resisting surface. It is
important that no inflammable items are near to the device. Do
not place the device on the edge of the table so that it cannot be
touched by children or fall down when touched.
Danger of foam:
Never put egg, milk, cream or similar to the rice. Always, wash
the rice before cooking. Else there could be foam during cooking.
