 The plug must always be easy to reach in an emergency. For
this reason, it is important that the power socket is always
easily accessible.
 The device uses a small amount of electricity, even when it is
switched off. To completely switch off the device, either un-
plug it from the power socket or remove the batteries from
the battery compartment.
 Always hold the plug when disconnecting it from the socket.
Never pull on the cable.
 Never unplug the mains plug with wet hands. Danger of an
electric shock!
 Unplug the device from the power socket if it is not going to
be used for a longer period of time (for example, if you go on
holiday), or during a thunderstorm where there is the risk of a
lightning strike.

The CD player is a class 1 laser product. The de-
vice has a safety system that prevents dangerous
laser beams from escaping during normal use. To
avoid eye injuries, never tamper with or damage
the device's safety system.
