Operation
Always follow the safety instructions and observe the relevant regulations!
When switching the machine on or off, keep the machine away from the work piece.
Otherwise, the grinding disc or cut-off wheel could damage the work piece.
• Clamp down or secure the work piece in another way, so that it cannot shift in the
course of the work.
• Hold the machine securely and press it at an angle of approx.15° against the work
piece.
• Check the discs and wheels on a regular basis. Worn grinding discs or cut-off wheels
have a negative influence on the effectiveness of the machine.
• At the end of work, always first switch off the machine before pulling out the electrical
plug.
On/Off switch (2)
The angle grinder is equipped with a safety switch to prevent accidents. To switch the
machine on, push the button (2) forward and press down on it to lock it in place. To
switch off the angle grinder, press down on the button (2). The button returns to its
original position.
Working Instructions
Wait until the machine has reached its normal speed before grinding or cutting!
• The electric cable (3) should never be located near the grinding disc or cut-off wheel.
• In order to avoid flying sparks as much as possible when grinding or cutting, one
should work with an angle between 10° and 15° when grinding and between 30° and
45° when cutting. Only put down the machine if the motor has come to a complete
stop. Do not put the machine down on a dusty surface. Dust particles can get into the
machine.
Never use the spindle lock to stop the machine!
Do not use the machine to work on magnesium and asbestos containing materials!
Malfunctions
In the event that the angle grinder does not function properly, bring the machine in for
a check and/or repair to your Workers Best professional dealer.
