Remove the lid upward.
Installing the liquid-dispensing module
A
Insert the EZL 235 electronic (2) with 4 spacers (1) into the existing holes of the lateral machine frame; see Fig. 1.

Insert the terminal strips (3) in the existing holes on the machine frame; see Fig. 1.
For details of the positioning of the terminal strips (see Fig. 2):
- Terminal strip 1X3-4 = orange
- Terminal strip 2X3-4 = gray
- Terminal strip 3X3-4 = blue
- Terminal strip 4X3-4 = green/yellow

Connect the existing orange 1X3-4, gray 2X3-4, and blue 3X3-4 terminal strips on the machine frame to the new
terminal strips.

To connect the terminal strips, bridge the orange 1X3-4, gray 2X3-4, and blue 3X3-4 terminal strips with the black
connection wire (5); see Fig. 2.
Checking the existing cable connection

Check that the blue connection wire (6) from module 1 (liquid dispensing 1–6) EZL 235-ST8, PIN 7 to the blue 3X3-4
terminal strip is correctly routed; see Fig. 2.
Changing the existing plug connection
A
Disconnect the plug from module 1 EZL 235-ST9 and insert it into the plug connector of module 2 (liquid dispensing
7–12) EZL 235-ST9 (1); see Fig. 2.
Plugging the screw-terminal strips
A
Connect the beige 4-pin screw-terminal strip to module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–11 and WRG) EZL 235-ST6 (2a);
see Fig. 2.

Connect the green 7-pin screw-terminal strip to module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–12) EZL 235-ST8 (2b); see Fig. 2.

Connect the red 4-pin screw-terminal strip to module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–11 and WRG) EZL 235-ST11 (2c);
see Fig. 2.

Connect the blue 6-pin screw-terminal strip to module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–12) EZL 235-ST12 (2b); see Fig. 2.
Routing and connecting the wiring harnesses

To avoid interference signals in the control circuit, route the load and control current wiring harnesses separately
(electromagnetic compatibility).
A
Excess cable should be gathered so that current flows in opposite directions and tied to avoid any antenna effect.
A
Route the wiring harness (load current) 20X-41X (3a) from module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–12) EZL 235-ST10 to
module 1 (liquid dispensing 1–6) EZL 235-ST9; see Fig. 2.

Route the wiring harness (control current) N1Q_ST112, N1Q_ST11 (3b) from module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–12)
EZL 235-ST111 to module 1 (liquid dispensing 1–6) EZL 235-ST112; see Fig. 2.

Connect electronics ELZ 235, module 3, and ELP 235, module 1, in accordance with the wiring diagram.
Connecting the coding plugs

Connect coding plug WRG1 to module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–11 and WRG) EZL 235-ST6, PIN 2-3 (4a); see Fig. 2.

Connect coding plug MFM 53X to module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–11 and WRG) EZL 235-ST7, PIN 1-2, PIN 3-4 (4b);
see Fig. 2.

Connect plug N1Q-ST11A to module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–11 and WRG) EZL 235-ST11, PIN 1-2 (4c); see Fig. 2.

Connect coding plug MFM 2-5 to module 3 (liquid dispensing 7–12) EZL 235-ST3, PIN 3-5 (4d); see Fig. 2.
