Preparatory work

Disconnect the machine from the power supply and ensure that it cannot be switched on again in error.

If available, disconnect the machine from the gas supply.

Remove one screw on the left and right of the machine lid.
A
Lift the front of the lid a hand's width and push it back, detaching the centering cones at the back of the lid from the
connection strip.
