Installation

2.1 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1 Insert the edge of the slotted screwdriver
into the groove at the bottom of the
holding bracket, push and turn the slotted
screwdriver to separate and remove the
controller from the holding bracket.
(iv) A - Groove part

C - Slotted screwdriver

F - Tabs for attachment of the controller

N O T E
Do not insert the slotted screwdriver into the tab
part beside the groove. The tab may be damaged
and the advanced color wired remote controller
cannot be installed.
2 Attach the controller to the holding
bracket and connect the cable as follows:
• In Case of Exposing the Controller Cable
Fix the holding bracket onto the wall with
screws (accessory). (v)
Attach the stopper (plastic band) to the
cable at the inner side of the draw-out
hole.
(vi) B - Cable
C - B and stopper (Field-supplied)
D - D raw-out hole
E - L ead the cable with its sheath peeled
through the groove
F - P eel the insulation at the end of the cable
and clamp the M3 solderless terminals

• When Using Junction Box
- Prepare the optional field-supplied
Implanted Junction Box.
- Feed the cable through the conduit
tubing in the wall.
(vii) G - O ptional M size Junction box with
4 fixing tabs
H - O ptional S size Junction box with
2 fixing tabs
I - M4 screws (field-supplied)
- Cut away the insulation at the end of
the cable and clamp the M3 solderless
terminals (field-supplied). Connect the
terminals (J)
3 Attach the controller body to the mounted
holding bracket. Be careful not to pinch
the cable when attaching it.
4 After installation, peel away the protective
film from the LCD screen. (viii)
