• Avoid mechanical damage
to the charger. This can re-
sult in internal short circuits.
• Do not operate the charger
on a combustible surface
(e.g. paper, textiles). Risk of
fire due to heating during
charging.
• If the connection cable of
this device is damaged,
it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or their
customer service or by a
similarly qualified person
in order to avoid hazards.
• The battery of your de-
vice is only partially pre-
charged upon delivery
and must be fully charged
before being used for the
first time. Insert the battery
into the base and connect
the charger to the mains.
• Remove the mains plug
when the battery is fully
charged and disconnect the
battery from the charger.
• Do not attempt to charge
non-rechargeable batteries
in the charger.
• Do not use any accessories
that are not recommended
by PARKSIDE. This can re-
sult in electric shock or fire.

Charging the battery

Do not expose the bat-
tery to extreme condi-
tions such as heat or
impact. Risk of injury from
escaping electrolytic solution!
After eye/skin contact, rinse
the affected areas with water
or a neutraliser and consult a
doctor.
Charge the battery in
a dry room only.
Prior to attaching the
charger, check that the bat-
tery's outer surface is clean
and dry.
There is a risk of injury due
to electric shock.
Switch off the device and
remove the battery before
carrying out any maintenan-
ce work.
The rechargeable battery
only reaches its full capacity
once it has been charged
several times.
• Charge the battery before using
it for the first time.
• Only use chargers from the
Parkside X 12 V Team series to
recharge the battery.
• If the operating time is con-
siderably shortened despite
charging, this shows that the
rechargeable battery is depleted
and must be replaced. Only use
